The Neighbourhood

Located in the vibrant village of Baveno within easy reach (600 m) walk to local shops. There’s a marvellous lakeside promenade, cafes, restaurants, a little harbour with regular taxi ferry service and stunning views over the magical Borromeo Islands and Lake Maggiore.

The train station is close by conveniently connecting you to the centre of Milan for a fabulous day trip adventure. Baveno enjoys a very central position on Lake Maggiore next to the famous town of Stresa (4 km), the most popular tourist resort of the lake, and close to the city of Intra in Verbania.

Getting Around

From Baveno to Intra (Piemonte region) is approx 21 min (13,7 km) from which you can take the ferry to cross into Laveno (Lombardy region). Malpensa airport to Villa La Romanica is about 55 min (62 km).
