This imposing iconic 1914 villa maintains its original liberty charm of the early 20th century. Nestled in the lush greenery of the quaint town of Porto Valtravaglia opposite Lake Maggiore. The amazing rooftop windows offer breathtaking views over Switzerland and the Rock of Angera, an ancient fortress illuminated by a halo of warmth. The villa is only a short stroll to the beach, coffee bars, restaurants and the ferry port offering a foot passenger ferry service directly to Piemonte. The villa encompasses a tea room complete with piano, a large kitchen with fireplace and x10 bedrooms spread over 4 stories. Designed for a memorable Italian experience.

The Neighbourhood

Porto Valtravaglia is located in the Lombardy region. Situated amidst the beautiful lakeside town. Luino (8 km) is a 15 minute drive away and Laveno (11 km) is an easy 20 minute drive away where you can find artisan shops, restaurants and stunning views over the lake. An ideal location for families and friends who enjoy amazing hiking trails, cycling routes, sailing, golfing, Botanical gardens and exploring the wonders of the territory.

Getting Around

From Porto Valtravaglia to Laveno (Lombardy region) is approx 17 min (11,2 km) away where you can get a ferry port to cross over to Intra (Piemonte region). From Malpensa airport to the villa is approx an hour and 20 minutes (66 km).

Other Things to Note

Villa Rivazzola overlooks the picturesque harbour of Porto Valtravaglia.

Furniture and stucco made or restored by “Contrada degli Artigiani di Como”.

An independent apartment is situated in the basement (Extra charge applies).

Main villa features two fully-equipped wide kitchens and a third in the apartment.
